悉尼21日消息，就在野兔為自己的男儐相們滿上啤酒的時候，關於他今日婚禮的重
要部分，那就是祖父母的到場卻好像被野兔遺忘了。
居住在阿德萊德的奶奶和爺爺，道恩和馬克斯昨天飛抵悉尼，但是前去接機的只有
私人助理一人。守候的記者在沒有發現希威特的身影後，只得幫助兩位老人拿行李，隨
後和他們一起打出租回城裏。
這是兩位老人40年來第一次來到悉尼旅行，在前往洲際飯店的路上他們說在週一晚
上已經和野兔通過電話，當時希威特對婚禮的行程依然守口如瓶。道恩對秘書說：“你
可能比我知道的要多，這小子不停地告訴我要耐心等待，因為會有驚喜出現。”
也許是太忙了沒有接待老人的時間，但是已經接近成為兔子夫人的卡特懷特卻花了
4個小時的時間做面部美容護理，一位美容院的經理說這位影視明星還修了手腳指甲。
昨天她在洲際飯店渡過了自己單身生活的最後一晚，當時和貝卡在一起的還有她的母親
和眾位女儐相，其中包括自己的妹妹克利斯蒂和《Home and Away》系列劇廣告員維多利
亞-薩普爾。
有消息稱這對新人將在近200位親人和朋友面前宣誓成為夫婦，婚禮地點選在悉尼歌
劇院的北部大廳，至於接待嘉賓的地方現在還處在保密狀態，不過估計在塔隆加動物園。
至於希威特，他昨天花了一下午的時間呆在北部海灣的遊艇上，不是他價值42萬美
元的黑色法拉利而是租來的遊艇上，野兔也在和男儐相們一起享受自己的最後單身時刻
，其中男儐相還包括野兔的好友海頓-埃克爾曼。在回到自己的豪宅之前，希威特和這些
小夥子們開懷暢飲並盡情打了一通保齡球，隨後他回家和雙方親友會面。

Lleyton Hewitt are expected to marry today, with 200 family and friends
in attendance at the Sydney Opera House.
The 21-year-old actress had the final fitting of her white baby-doll dress,
with fashion designer Alex Perry yesterday, during a day of indulgence and
final arrangements.
The bride-to-be spent four hours at the Facial Impression beauty salon at
Avalon, on Sydney's northern beaches, experiencing "the works" with a
pre-wedding buff and polish including a manicure and pedicure, a salon
spokeswoman said.
Clearly busy with last-minute details, Cartwright emerged from her marathon
treatment carrying a diary, phone and a pre-wedding glow.
She was expected last night to return to the Intercontinental Hotel to spend
her last hours as a single woman with her mother and bridesmaids including
her sister Kristy, Hewitt's sister Jaslyn and former Home and Away publicist
Victoria Supple.
The groom spent the afternoon cruising the northern beaches – not in his
$420,000 black Ferrari but in a rented red Commodore – enjoying a last
minute bucks day with his groomsmen including his best man, school friend
Hayden Eckermann, Crows player Tyson Edwards, Brett Smith, the son of his
former coach Peter Smith, Cartwright's brother Shaun and Hewitt coach Roger
Rasheed.
The boys indulged in a beer and bowl at the Dee Why ten-pin bowling club,
before heading to the couple's palatial Palm Beach waterfront home where
they met up with Cartwright and her family.
While the windows were boarded up and curtains drawn, there was a buzz of
activity at the home, with photographers camped out from dawn, cars flying
in and out and the boys enjoying beers on the balcony.
At one stage, the best man was seen trying to find a quiet spot to write
what appeared to be his speech.
The couple are expected to tie the knot early this afternoon in the northern
foyer of the Sydney Opera House, followed by a reception at a secret
harbourside location, believed to be Taronga Zoo.
They will be married by Pastor Brandon Chaplin, the Port Adelaide football
club chaplain based at the Bellevue Heights Baptist Church in Adelaide.
Guests will be taken to the wedding by bus and are not allowed to bring
cameras or mobile phones with cameras.
The wedding was organised by celebrity event manager David Grant.
A who's who of sport and television is expected to be present including
Home and Away stars Kate Ritchie, Ada Nicodemou, Tammin Sursok and Kristy
Wright. Tennis legend John Newcombe also is expected to attend. The couple
became engaged in late January, six weeks after they began dating.
