CHICAGO, IL, USA - Having recently announced the end of her retirement, Justine
Henin is back on the courts with a new Wilson racquet in her hand, and she's
already off to a flying start. On Friday she reached the final of her first
tournament back in Brisbane; in little more than a week she will be in
Melbourne for her Grand Slam return at the Australian Open.
A seven-time Grand Slam champion, Henin says she wants to come back because
she has unfinished business in tennis: she wants to win Wimbledon, the only
major she hasn't won, and play at least until the 2012 Olympics.
The Henin/Wilson reunion coincides with the launch of BLX, the next great
generation of Wilson racquet. As she restarts her career, Henin will be
equipped with an upgrade of her old frame, the new Tour BLX. The racquet,
which has been created in collaboration with the Belgian, is one of the most
versatile racquets in the Wilson line. The Tour BLX has been redefined with
an improved level of feel thanks to the BLX technology.
"I am eager to get back on the court and I can't imagine playing with anything
else than a Wilson racquet," Henin said. "When I decided to return, Wilson
worked with me to find the racquet that would give me the best feel."
Henin is involved with the BLX marketing campaign and looks forward to picking
up where she left off. Winning Wimbledon is the ultimate goal she truly
believes is possible. Wilson looks forward to kick-starting her tremendous
career with all the support and the latest technology.
When Henin announced her comeback, she knew only one brand could help to
