Kuo rebounds in start, fanning eight Rays in 5 1/3 innings

Luis Gonzalez created a few more memories in his hometown and Hong-Chih Kuo
shook off a rough recent past, but in the end, the Dodgers still couldn't
buck the trend of Interleague road losses, and dropped the series finale at
Tampa Bay, 9-4, on Sunday.
Gonzalez homered in the first inning. His two-run blast was the first-ever to
land in the 10,000-gallon aquarium filled with live cownose rays in
right-center field. It also gave him 335 homers as a left fielder, moving him
ahead of Babe Ruth for third-most all-time. Now, just Barry Bonds and Ted
Williams have hit more.

The two-run lead lasted until the bottom of the fourth, when the Devil Rays
touched Kuo for the game-tying score off of a pair of singles surrounding a
walk.
To his credit, Kuo had turned a complete 180 from his last start, an
embarrassing outing in which he yielded eight runs at Toronto in just 1 2/3
innings. That, coupled with the fact that he was pitching on just three days'
rest, made his 5 1/3-inning, four-hit effort all that much more impressive.

Kuo also fanned eight before turning over the ball to Rudy Seanez with a man
on second in the sixth.
The next hitter, Ty Wigginton, singled in the eventual game-winner and then
advanced to third when catcher Mike Lieberthal lost the ball on a tag play,
after a throw from Gonzalez. He'd score an insurance run one out later on a
Seanez wild pitch.
郭在六局下，二壘有人時把球交給了中繼Rudy Seanez，
這時他已K掉八名打者。
而這時上場的打者Ty Wigginton，打出了最後變成勝利打點的一壘安打，
之後又在捕手Mike Lieberthal的失誤下推進到三壘。

Things fell apart shortly after, with the Rays plating five in the seventh
off of Joe Beimel, who didn't record an out.
James Loney drilled a two-run homer in the ninth to complete the scoring.
之後沒多久事情就失去了控制，魔鬼魚在七局下從Joe Beimel手中敲下五分，
Beimel一個打者都沒有解決。
James Loney在九局上，用一支全壘打替道奇追回兩分。
