Kuo vs. Tsao: After hitting the first Major League homer for a Taiwanese-born player, Hong-Chih Kuo said countryman and disabled Dodgers pitcher Chin-hui Tsao is an even better hitter. 曹郭對決: 在轟出了台灣人的首支大聯盟全壘打後, 郭泓志說待傷兵名單的同胞投手曹錦輝打擊能力甚至比他要傑出。 "He was right," said Tsao, who had the first Major League hit for a Taiwanese-born player. He's 2-for-13 with a double. Kuo also is 2-for-13 with a double and homer. 不過小曹近幾年都在和手臂問題搏鬥, 而且因為他已經轉為中繼而不再先發, 所以至 2003年之後就沒再上過打擊區, 他13個打數有兩支安打, 包含一支二壘打, 郭也一樣 13次打數兩安打, 一發全壘打, 一發二壘安打。 As for Kuo's exaggerated bat flip after his homer, he did the same thing on Sept. 24 against Arizona.
