Team snags Ohio State point guard standout Conley By Marlon W. Morgan Contact June 29, 2007 　 NEW YORK -- Just like you would want a point guard to be, Mike Conley Jr., sat calmly in his chair as the Atlanta Hawks' allotted time to make their pick approached the two-minute mark during Thursday night's NBA Draft. Meanwhile, Al Horford, a 6-10 forward from Florida appeared nervous, taking a couple of deep sighs. As the clock wound down, Horford began gulping his bottled water.
