In a single-server queuing system with infinite buffer capacity,type 1 jobs
always preempt type 2 jobs.The service time of each type of job follows an
exponential distribution,with mean 2 minutes.The arrival processes(of both job
types) are Poisson processes.The arrival rate of type 1 jobs is 5(jobs/hour),
and the arrival rate of type 2 jobs is 15(jobs/hour).
(a) What is the average amount of time between the arrival and departure of
type 1 jobs?
(b) What is the average number of type 2 jobs in the system?
