(a) Starting from the current head position, what is the total distance (in cylinders)
that the disk arm moves to satisfy all the pending requests, for the
disk-scheduling algorithm FCFS (First-Come, First- Served)?
(b) What is the average rotational latency of this disk drive?
(c) What seek distance L can be covered in the seek time that you found for part (b)?
(Hint: an equation for the seek time t = 0.7561+ 0.2439 L )
3. Assume a memory system that supports interleaving either four reads or four
writes. Given the following memory addresses in order as they appear on the
memory bus: 7, 9, 21, 14, 51, 37, 17, 4, 12, 41, 67, 18, which ones will result in a
bank conflict?
