在國慶日來臨前夕，印度網民狂推中華民國國旗以示慶祝。圖為台北101大樓與中華民國國旗。（陳柏州／大紀元）【大紀元2020年10月09日訊】（大紀元記者陳俊村報導）在中國民國國慶日來臨前夕，中共駐印度大使館要求印度媒體在報導時不要提到「總統」、「中華民國」等字眼。此舉引起印度媒體從業人員的不滿，他們認為這是中共的「間接威脅」。而許多印度網民也在推特上貼出中華民國國旗，或象徵台灣與印度友好的訊息，讓中共的威脅頓時失效。印度報紙《印度快報》（Indian Express）和《政治家日報》（The Statesman）於10月7 日刊登全版雙十國慶廣告，另有印度媒體推出台灣專題報導。對此，中共駐印度大使館當日致函印度媒體，警告它們不要違反「一個中國」原則，也不要提到「總統」、「中華民國」等字眼。印度獨立記者兼節目主持人考爾（Aditya Raj Kaul）發推文質疑說，「這是中共對印度報導台灣的媒體提出間接威脅嗎？」 #BREAKING: Chinese Embassy, New Delhi issues diktat letter to Indian media about reporting the National Day of Taiwan on Oct 10th.
