The reason that Gov. John Kasich was hastily added to a JobsOhio trade
mission to Japan in early June was so that he could slip away and meet with
Terry Gou, the chairman and CEO of Foxconn.
（美國俄亥俄州州長）凱希克6月初倉促加入「俄州工作」貿易任務團前往日本，因為這
樣他才能悄悄出訪，並與富士康董事長兼執行長郭台銘見面。
The Taiwanese electronics supplier has touched off a massive bidding war
among Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and other states to land one of the U.S.
facilities the company promises to build in the next few years.
這家台灣的電子供應大廠已在俄亥俄州、威斯康辛州、密西根州及其他（美國的）州引爆
搶標戰，爭取成為該公司承諾在未來數年設廠的落腳地。
Kasich met with Gou in Osaka.
凱希克在大阪與郭台銘見面。
The governor also met with leaders of Honda on the Japan trip.
這位州長在這趟日本行中，也與本田汽車高層會面。
According to a story from Associated Press, Kasich acknowledged that Ohio is
trying to attract a Foxconn facility.
根據美聯社的一篇報導，凱希克坦承俄州正積極爭取富士康設廠。
In his first public remarks on the matter, the Republican governor said on
August 15 that Ohio is "pitching" the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer.
這位共和黨籍州長8月15日首度就此事公開發言，表示俄州正努力向這家台灣電子製造商
自我推銷。
