Diners hurled chairs and bottles at terrorist who stormed restaurant with
'foot long knife and stabbed woman'

Terrified diners have described fighting off a terrorist knifeman who stormed
a London restaurant leaving victims drenched in blood .
It came as an armed thug with a foot-long blade went on the rampage in busy
Borough Market in central London.
At around the same time a van ploughed into pedestrians on London Bridge,
leaving several dead.
Terrified customers in Borough Market armed themselves with chairs and
glasses to fight off the assailants in an incident described by Prime
Minister Theresa May as an "potential act of terror".
One witness told the Sun Online: "There were people throwing chairs and
glasses outside and I thought it might just be a fight. Then I realised it
was more than that, people were running.
“Next thing we know, they’re in our restaurant. People were screaming ‘they
’ve got knives’.”

The Met Police said: "Officers have then responded to reports of stabbings in
