Yeah. Actually, I went to see an exhibition, too. The Steve McCurry Solo Exhibition in Museum of contemporary art, Taipei. You may say that going to the museum may be a little traditional, but what they displayed was some films . Very modern, right? Nowadays, people can look at the art work not only in museum, salon, but also on the Internet, or anywhere, and most important of all, art is not a privilege for the royals thanks to the invention of the Internet. The Internet has change some point of view of the way we see art. First, the distance. The route between viewers and masterpiece has changed from going to museum, to everywhere beside us. For example, entering a few keyword, and you can find a lot of masterpieces. And, where we can find art has also changed. We can find art in everywhere. Take Taipei 101 as example, will you think that you can find art around Taipei 101? Maybe not, but take this landmark as example, would you define this LOVE as art? And the bus across Taipei 101, which was designed by Jimmy, will you define this as art? Yes, right? But, in the past, we won't seen art everywhere, the art is only in museum, something you would only see in place like National Palace Museum, or Taipei Fine Art Museum, where the normal public would seldom want to "go" there. However, what if the art is in our everyday life? While we are spending time commuting from our home to workplace, we can see art on the bus, on the MRT, outside of the building, everywhere around us, this kind of installation art is something we could seldom find before. So what we are going to talk about, is the way we define art, and the way we could reach art. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 223.137.143.102 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/GambleGhost/M.1542553872.A.9AD.html
