[計量] GRE題庫中 機率的問題

For a certain probability experiment,
the probability that event A will occur is 1/2 and the probability
that event B will occur is 1/3 Which of the following values
could be the probability that the event A ∪ B
(that is, the event A or B, or both) will occur?
我可以理解 題目的解法 P(A or B) = P(A)+P(B)-P(A and B)
P(A and B) = 0~1/3
所以結果是= 1/2~5/6
但是 我又一直覺得可以 P(A or B) = 1 - 非 P(A or B)
非 P(A or B) = 1/2 x 2/3 = 1/3
所以 結果是: 1-1/3 = 2/3
我認為這兩個解法是 針對完全不同的情況
第一種 像是 畫 A B 兩個圈, 問 A B 一共多大?
P(A and B) = 0~1/3 就是 兩個圈可能重疊的範圍
第二種 像是 擲兩個特定不一樣的骰子
第一顆 A 擲出 1,2,3 或 第二顆 B 擲出 1,2 的機率?
我不懂 為什麼這個題目是第一種情況 而不是第二種???
