大意是講有個藝術流派創作的畫作，其特點是給觀眾以視覺衝擊。但是由於這種藝術
形式的價值沒有被很好的意識到，導致買入這種畫作的買家（或政府）將那些畫放置在很
隨意的公共場所（以達到商業傳播目的）。於是，post modernist為了改變這一現狀，將
視覺衝擊程度加大（violent attack ?）而成為self－destructive，有意識的進一步刺
激觀眾感官，而使大家無法接受，那樣這些畫就不會被掛到公共場所了。文末舉了個例子
（什麼什麼New York）就屬於self-destructive這一類，這幅畫只有在照片中才能看見。

講一個叫 w 的人覺得 natural selection 解釋不了為什麼一個群體的總數可以維持不變
，因為 natural selection 會 favor 那些生得多的個體從而一個群體的總數應該越來越
多，但是事實不是這樣，所以他又創造了一個過程叫group selection 來解釋這個現象，
說是個體在集體裡的時候為了集體的利益就 somewhat 生少了。另外一個科學家反駁他的
觀點，提到了 altruism。還有一位科學家提到了某種鳥一窩生 3 個而不是更多是因為再
多了存活率就不高了，而不是因為他們不想生，說白了還是想最大化 individual
strength。後來又說 W看待一群魚的觀點，是認為他們呆在一起時想要知道自己的群體
density多少從而調整該生多少，反駁他的科學家說實際上那些魚只是想要尋求庇護而已
，根本不是什麼集體主義。
