[回報] 4/7 泰國機考

考試沒有出現太多當月機經...(畢竟是第一個禮拜考..XD) 晚點會對著單字表，看能不能回憶出考題。短閱考的其中一題是講最近越來越多女生，選擇律師當作行業。原因是女生需要因為生小孩而中斷事業，但是很多其他專業的行業，如女醫生，女建築師，等等，很難在生兒育女後回到職場。但是女律師比較容易。長閱和另外一題短閱，因為時間快到的關係，一緊張就用猜的..XD 填充記得有一題是在 pp3 裡面看過 issue: Most people choose a career on the basis of such pragmatic considerations as the needs of the economy, the relative ease of finding a job, and the salary they can expect to make. Hardly anyone is free to choose a career based on his or her natural talents or interest in a particular kind of work. argument: The following appeared as an editorial in a wildlife journal. "Arctic deer live on islands in Canada's arctic region. They search for food by moving over ice from island to island during the course of a year. Their habitat is limited to areas warm enough to sustain the plants on which they feed, and cold enough, at least some of the year, for the ice to cover the sea separating the islands, allowing the deer to travel over it. Unfortunately, according to reports from local hunters, the deer populations are declining. Since these reports coincide with recent global warming trends that have caused the sea ice to melt, we can conclude that the decline in arctic deer populations is the result of deer being unable to follow their age-old migration patterns across the frozen sea." 考試順序為 AQVQ 最後一個 Q 應該是加考？他沒有說不算分哩！不過它題形很奇怪，只有 18 提，然後半個小時。裡面竟然還有填充複選。考到這個時候，已經很累了，就亂猜了幾個題目。結論是~老方的講義要好好背，我只有背 CAT 那兩本就去考試了，填充和閱讀只有作 big book, 然後 powerprep 全部的練習都做過一次。成績回報為 V660Q800 真的覺得運氣不錯。 (ps1, 我住在 LE FENIX, 我覺得環境不錯. 旁邊有得過獎的pub-bed super, http://www.bangkok.com/lefenix/rates.htm?cid=AWASH357 在 nana 捷運在旁邊，離考場捷運只有兩站，很方便。搭小黃大概是 50B, 約台幣50塊, 那邊吃得很多, 建議到 asok 站, 有很好吃的便宜泰式料理. 從 nana 走路可以到, 到 asok, 問外國人, 我也是搭訕當地外國人才知道 XD... asok 站那裡，還有個紅燈區，不會騙錢，值得去看一下表演.. 也是搭訕的當地外國人帶我去逛的..) (ps2, 泰國 gre 考場旁邊，有聽說很靈的四面佛，也聽說是香火最鼎盛的我考下午場，所以有去拜一下，不知道是保佑還是真的運氣好，大家可以去拜拜增加運氣。還有小心泰國的騙子，有夠多的！去五天，就被騙兩次，其中一次被騙了 660, 也只能說無言啦！ ) 大皇宮那裡很多騙子，要多小心...我就在那裡被騙一次..orz 他說大皇宮關了，建議我去其他廟逛，還說他是那裡的便衣刑警，有稍微亮一下證件，然後就很好心提醒我泰國騙子很多，要我小心幫我攔了一輛嘟嘟車，吩咐好帶我去玩。剛開始是真的帶我去逛，但最後...帶我去了賣珠寶的地方... >< 強迫推銷... 還好我是逃出來了.. 事後回飯店，才知道那是一貫騙人的技倆, 且大皇宮根本沒關... -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.102.49 ※ 編輯: dbtsai 來自: 140.112.102.49 (04/12 00:07)
