[SC. ] 詢問OG SC第675題

想請問各位高手們OG 675題，
根據核心語意完整性刪去去ABC，
再根據capable to慣用語錯誤刪去E，
很快就可以選到答案D
但OG針對C的解釋寫道，
the phrase that follows the preposition is ungrammertical,requiring a
particicle to modify "subjects",such as "being able to"
不懂這裡的able to 有甚麼文法問題?為何要改成being able to?
我原本的理解是 subjects who are able to....省略who are 變成subjects able to
不過依據OG的解釋我的想法顯然有問題
再勞煩版上高手指點
