The Golden State Warriors have signed guard Coby Karl to a 10-day contract,
the team announced Sunday. Karl, 26, is a free agent call-up from the NBA
Development League's Idaho Stampede, where he has averaged 27.2 points, 7.8
rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.60 steals and 40.6 minutes in five games since joining
the team earlier this month.
A 6-5, 215-pound guard who went undrafted out of Boise State in 2007, Karl
began the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, appearing in three games before
being waived on January 6.
His previous NBA playing experience came as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers
during the 2007-08 campaign, when he averaged 1.8 points in 17 contests.
