Warriors coach Don Nelson originally wanted to start Jackson at shooting guard
next to Monta Ellis, but those plans have changed due to the plethora of point
guards (Ellis, C.J. Watson, Acie Law, Speedy Claxton) and shooting guards
(Kelenna Azubuike, Anthony Morrow, Stephen Curry) the Warriors currently have
on their roster. Nelson announced on Tuesday that Jackson, Ellis, Anthony
Randolph and Andris Biedrins are all penciled in as opening night starters.
Who starts next to Ellis in the backcourt is still in question with Morrow,
Curry and Azubuike all possible candidates.
