Predatory Pauleta sinks Bordeaux
Pauleta scored a first-half hat-trick against his former club as Paris Saint-
Germain FC claimed a 3-1 win against FC Girondins de Bordeaux in Ligue 1. The
Portuguese international striker increased his season's tally to 20 league
goals as PSG became the first team to defeat Bordeaux at home and away this
term.

讓Paris Saint-Germain FC以３－１力壓FC Girondins de Bordeaux。

Early breakthrough
Pauleta, who spent three seasons at Bordeaux between 2000 and 2003, headed
the opener from a pinpoint Bernard Mendy cross in the seventh minute, before
Colombian international Edixon Perea equalised on 21 minutes. Pauleta then
won and converted a penalty before completing his hat-trick two minutes before
half-time with another header. Despite the disappointment, Bordeaux remain in
line for automatic UEFA Champions League qualification, six points ahead of
LOSC Lille Metropole in third. Olympique Lyonnais are virtually untouchable,
12 points clear at the top with six games to play.

Rising Rennes
Elsewhere Stade Rennais FC signalled their European ambitions with a 1-0 win
away to Toulouse FC. The winner came via a Lucien Aubey own goal, after he
deflected in a Yohann Gourcuff corner with 17 minutes to play. Having been
15th on 11 February, Rennes have now won seven straight and are fourth just
one point behind third place and a berth in the UEFA Champions League third
qualifying round. Also on Sunday, promoted sides AS Nancy-Lorraine and Le
Mans UC 72 consolidated in mid-table with a goalless draw.

Three first-half goals from captain Pauleta gave Paris St Germain a 3-1 home
victory over second-placed Girondins Bordeaux in a spectacular Ligue 1 match
on Sunday.

Former Bordeaux striker Pauleta, the league's top scorer now with 20 goals
from 33 matches, landed two headers and a penalty to give PSG their second
win over Bordeaux this season.
Pauleta是前Bordeaux的前鋒，在33場的比賽裡有20顆的進球排在聯賽的射手榜首位，
以２個頭球和一記點球，幫助PSG在這個賽季兩勝Bordeaux。
Bordeaux, who had lost 2-0 at home to the Parisians in November, had gone 13
matches without defeat since losing 1-0 at Le Mans in December.

Bordeaux, who were 1-0 down when Colombia forward Edixon Perea scored their

The win put them 18 points ahead of third-placed Lille, who have five games
left, and means Lyon will finish in the top two and go directly into the

The third-placed team has to enter the qualifying round of European club
soccer's premier competition.
Lyon top the standings with 72 points from 32 games, followed by Bordeaux on
60 and Lille with 54 from 33 matches.
