[傷兵] Jason Kipnis
Indians place Jason Kipnis (oblique) on DL
Indians placed 2B Jason Kipnis on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to
April 30, with a right oblique strain.
Kipnis suffered the injury on Tuesday and obviously hasn't made enough
improvement over the last few days to avoid a trip to the disabled list.
Oblique strains typically result in longer than minimum DL stints, so fantasy
owners shouldn't expect him back until late May. Mike Aviles, Elliot Johnson,
Jose Ramirez and possibly Ryan Raburn figure to handle second base while
Kipnis is out.
