‧ SS Cliff Pennington was out of Tuesday’s lineup after being diagnosed a day earlier with Bell’s Palsy. The condition, which affects a facial nerve, kept Pennington from closing his left eye on Monday night, and he left the game at Seattle with blurred vision in the sixth inning.
