[傷兵] Reyes (hamstring) to miss three weeks
Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports that doctors have told Jose Reyes
(hamstring) that he will need to miss three weeks.
It's not clear if this timeline includes the time he has already spent
sidelined, but either way, this is quite a contrast to the initial diagnosis
of a "Grade 1" hamstring strain, which Mets general manager Sandy Alderson
called the "most benign." The Mets were already expected to place Reyes on
the 15-day disabled list, but now it appears likely they'll be missing him
for most of July. It goes without saying, but we can probably rule out a
trade at this point.
