3B Jose Bautista will miss the three-game series against the Oakland A's due
to a personal matter. Bautista is expected to return to the team for the
weekend series in Anaheim, according to Jays manager John Farrell. "He's been
excused to tend to a family matter," Farrell told reporters Tuesday. Some
reports revealed Bautista was on his way home in Tampa, Fla., to be with his
girlfriend for the birth of their first child. (Yahoo! Sports)
