Manager Rod Gardenhire said Mauer received a cortisone shot for right
shoulder tendinitis, and he will miss a one or two games, Kelly Theiser of
MLB.com reports.
Recommendation: You wouldn't know Mauer has been hurting from his recent
performance, and he went 3-for-4 in Saturday's game. Look for Jose Morales to
be behind the plate while Mauer recovers.
