Choo (thumb) had a soft toss session on Thursday and hopes to take
batting practice this weekend, the team's official site reports.
Recommendation: If he's able to take batting practice without suffering
any setbacks he'll look to ramp up his rehab program with an eye towards
a possible return by the end of the month. It should be noted that surgery
is still a possibility and would quite likely end his season.
