Mets' Reyes not expected to return this year
Mets manager Jerry Manuel said Friday that he's "working on the assumption"
that Jose Reyes won't be back this season.
Most fantasy owners came to the same conclusion after team physicians found
significant scar tissue in Reyes' right hamstring in early August. SNY's
Matthew Cerrone reports the shortstop "has been pretty idle for the last week
or so" and might be a little "gun-shy" to test the injury. The 57-65 Mets
