Quentin (plantar fasciitis) played nine innings of left field for
Triple-A Charlotte Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Recommendation:
He may be activated as soon as Friday, but the Sox may wait to see if he can
play more extensively in the field before activating him. He has only played
two full games in his minor league rehab stint. The team may carry five
outfielders upon activating him, or they could send Brian Anderson or Dewayne
Wise away and use Jayson Nix as an emergency fifth outfielder.
