svnweb.freebsd.org (and my src) shows that for stable/8 i386

GENERIC is at r260271 and contains:

options         GEOM_PART_GPT           # GUID Partition Tables.
options         GEOM_LABEL              # Provides labelization

DEFAULTS is at r201535 and contains:

options         GEOM_PART_BSD
options         GEOM_PART_EBR
options         GEOM_PART_EBR_COMPAT
options         GEOM_PART_MBR
