VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for MYSQL Administrator for our
Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and
conditions:
Skillset required:
=95 4+ years of DBA experience on MYSQL platform
=95 Proven experience installing MYSQL, creating databases, performance
tuning, and managing uses and security
=95 Proven experience with MYSQL databases
=95 Ability to write SQL procedures, packages, functions and advice
software engineering teams on best practices on data access layer
=95 Strong understanding of advanced SQL queries (loops, exceptions,
declares), table views, constraints, stored procedures and the impact
of executing on the database
=95 Experience implementing backup and recovery strategies
=95 Familiarity with database administration tools
=95 Strong analytical skills
=95 Excellent written and communication skills
Responsibilities:
=95 Responsible for the entire database related activities
=95 Create physical database designs, conduct design reviews, perform
backup and recovery and performance turning.
=95 Review, evaluate, design and implement strategies for data
acquisitions from various formats into specifics databases (MY SQL) as
required
=95 Troubleshoot problems and work effectively with other team members
to identity and address problems
=95 Implement and maintain policies, procedures and standards to ensure
security and integrity of rest and production data
=95 Performs in a fast-paced environment where project deadlines are
critical and multiple projects in run in parallel
=95 May act as client point-of-contract and expert on DB admin on
projects.
=95 Reports to project had frequently
=95 Provide technical leadership and hands on management of the logical
and physical MY SQL database environments.
=95 Responsibilities for all aspects of database administration
including monitoring, backup and recovery, security, performance
management, and database object maintenance.
=95 Database administration in client-server environment including
definition, creation, implementation and maintenance
Education
=95 Bachelor=92s degree in computer science / IT
=95 MYSQL Administrator certification
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)
