Did you install boot0? (The MBR boot block that will list the partitions?)=

If so, you need to use boot0cfg to turn off 'packet' mode to instruct boot0=
=20
to not use LBA. I think I mentioned this earlier in the thread. You can d=
o=20
this by booting the disk up in the newer machine after the install and=20
running boot0cfg, then moving the disk over to the 486 machine.
