The above reply, and the replies to it, were great! I don't hang around many places that get angry (irritated?) diatribes. Most of the online discussions I read are overly polite, even. This was a great rant. It just went on and on. It brought up solid points the author was willing to defend. The author was well challenged on many of those points. Discussion ensued. Name-calling and other wastes-of-time did not. (Well, aside from the PowerBook beats father quip :D ) In conclusion, the conduct of everone on this list was fantastic. People discussed topics they care about without losing their sense of humor. Technical merits were both solid theoretical and first-hand experience. This just goes to show why the FBSD group is so fun to be around. I will now stop wasting your time. :) -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ _______________________________________________ freebsd-chat@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-chat To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-chat-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
