一、 地點Lugar
1. 旁邊 junto a; al lado de
ex: Let's sit by the fire.
=Sent幦onos junto al fuego.

2. 從前方經過 por delante de
ex: He went by the Town Hall.
=Paspor delante del Ayuntamiento.
3. 路經 por
ex: We came by the fields, no by the road.
=Vinimos por los campos, no por la carretera.
二、時間 tiempo
1. 在～的時候 durante
ex: 在白天by day = durante el d燰
在晚上by night = durante la noche
2. 在～之前 para
ex: Have this finished by the end of the month.
=Ten esto terminado para fin de mes.
3. 當 para cuando; cuando
ex: By the time we found the boy...
=Cuando encontramos al chico...
4 到時候 para entonces
ex: You would know the answer by then.
=Tendrias las respuestas para entonces.

2. 方法手段 por; con
ex: He makes a living by teaching.

ex: They get paid by hour.

=Fui a Barcelona en tren.
