I read a comic on a website, which consists of the following conversation. student: I made a few tweaks to the draft you sent me. You re-wrote the entire things. advisor: Yes, it is easier for me to re-write it than to point out all the things you did wrong. I call it learning by demonstration. student: What are we demonstrating? advisor: You are a bad writer. Firstly, I want to know what does "make a few tweaks" mean exactly? Does it common in spoken language? Secondly, I get confused by "learning by demonstration." Who learn? Learn what? Anybody help me? -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 124.8.186.218
