[Talk] Allergic to Peanuts :(
I don't know if many people are allergic to peanuts in Taiwan, but I am :(
It started ever since I can remember, and didn't got any better when I got
older. So I tend to avoid food and snacks containing peanuts as much as
possible. But there are still times when I accidently ate them > <
My throat, mouth, and ears will itch when I ate peanuts by mistake, and my
stomach will feel really bad. If I ate too much by mistake, I'll most likely
throw up X____X
Of course, I tried to find a cure for it a few times, like by eating the peanut
peels, hoping my body can get used to it gradually. Failed of course :(
By now, I can pretty much tell if the food contains peanuts just by smelling
it. It worked most of the time, except twice XD
Once, I had a French styled hamburger for breakfast. After a few bites, my
throat started itching, and I knew something was wrong > < I dissected the
hamburger slowly, and found a big smear of peanut butter on the bun.....
Wow, first time knowing that hamburgers can contain peanuts!
The second time was actually today. I tried out a new Italian restaurant near
my school with my classmates. And ordered a plate of spaghetti. AGAIN, few
bites later, my throat started itching....OMG they actually put peanut crumbs
in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I thought those stuff are deep-fried garlic =____=
p.s. I took this allergy test once, and it seems that besides peanuts, I'm
also slightly allergic to watermelon, eggs, dust, and skins of animals...
