Whenever any serious events break out, there must be some reasons
leading to such a mess; some phenomena known to everyone may have been
existing for a long time already, and whether they will be uncovered
and cracked overnight is just a matter of time, or conscience.
Therefore I believe, to some extent, we all have consumed a certain amount
of melamine.
In China, while people living in prosperous downtown, or those
officials working for government, demand Consumer Price Index (CPI)
to be as low, steady as possible, people living in the countryside
have to find a solution to keep their production costs likewise as low
as low can be, so that they can still squeeze a lean profit under
such a strict policy.
But it doesn't add up; how could those dairymen still produce
dairy products at the same low price while, along with crude oil,
the price of most raw materials are soaring mountain high? So the only
way out--producing tainted products--prevails.
