[Talk] suicide machine
Lately, there is a former politician inventing "suicide machine" for
terminally ill patients who want to die. In addition to eliciting
fierce discusson all over Germany, the invention also exasperates
moralists, apologists and churches in particular.
The machine's inventor said he is doing those wretches a favor,
arguing who those churches and politicians are to determine the
way those terminally ill patients deal with their fatal illness.
"It is none of your business," said Kusch angrily, adding that
rather than patent and sell it, he would lend it to those wanting
to die, only if they are diagnosed incurable disease.
This article is adapted and condensed from the original paper,
and it occurs to me that whether it conforms to ethics endowing citizens
with right to commit suicide.
