Few days ago I was tempted as a transcriber, which now I realized is not as easy as I thought it would be. I have to stop when the speaker finsihes her sentence, or worse, half the sentence, and change to WORD and type down what I just heard. Sometimes the speaker kept murmuring for quite a long time so I can't hear her words very clearly, let alone type it. The only solution is go back and hear it again. To transcribe a 30 minutes speech might take me a whole night, say four to five hours, probably due to my incorrect method or slow typing speed. Additionally, after almost three days in a row of typing my fingers have become all sticky and clumsy. Add insult to injury, I couldn't listen to music while transcribing, which makes it an insipid temp among all the jobs!!!!! So next time when you are offered with a temp for transcribing, really think before you leap. orz... -- Don't blink, everyone's watching. They'll think you're up to something. They need for you to be everything that they cannot be themselves. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.172.179.196 ※ 編輯: hamper 來自: 218.172.179.196 (08/16 23:16)
