suffer有兩個意思. 一個是說心裡/生理的痛苦. 這種情況要加被動. 如果是單純描述不好的經驗、狀況，只要用主動即可. depression就是這種情況. 另外，在coca上查詢suffer from depression可以看到全部都是主動. +be動詞什麼都查不到. 也就是你所提兩句都是對的
