今天讀WSJ金融相關的文章,有一個字眼想請教大家為何會這樣用 https://reurl.cc/9ONb6a 第一段就有點卡關 Federal Reserve officials voted Wednesday to lift interest rates and penciled in six more increases by year’s end, the most aggressive pace in more than 15 years, in an escalating effort to slow inflation that is running at its highest levels in four decades. 整句雖然看得懂,大概就是年底前會在加息6次 但對於penciled到底為什麼意義有點不解,為什麼這裡會用這個字 ------ New projections show officials expect to raise rates at a much faster pace than they projected in December, when most penciled in three quarter-percentage-point rate increases for this year,..... 下面某一段也出現一樣的用法,用penciled來形容加息0.25個百分點這件事情 但前面的Three我有點看不懂 還麻煩高手解惑 感激不盡 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 220.130.175.235 (臺灣) ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Eng-Class/M.1647512213.A.0BE.html
