[請益] 想請教文章中某一段句子的問題
大家好，今天在研讀網路上的文章時，某一段句子（如下）出現了動名詞（preventing)
，想了解為什麼要使用動名詞？
The ultra high temperature and the use of purified oxygen avoid greenhouse gas
emission because it eliminate nitrogen from the process and preventing the fo
rmation of harmful substance such as NOx.
我的想法是後半段的句子用and連接eliminate ....和prevent ....，為什麼eliminate沒
有ing ，prevent卻要加ing呢 ？謝謝！
