[請益] unreasonably negative or positive

請問「不合理地」(Unreasonably)這個副詞後面應該是接續 負面的形容詞還是正面的? 抑或是兩者皆可? 例如: unreasonably dangerous: 不合理地危險的，意指不但是危險的 而且程度高到不合理的程度。 但是可以揭正面的詞嗎? unreasonably safe: 不合理地安全的。文義有點奇怪，因為一般 概念上，安全似乎沒有上限而越高越好，所以安全性越高應該是 「越合理才是」。 與此相似的還有: unreasonably + crul/kind 但是如果改接續其他形容詞，不合理地這個副詞似乎又不必然一定 要限定只能接續負面形容詞。例如: unreasonably + stupid/smart unreasonably + ugly/beautiful -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 114.44.244.197 (臺灣) ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Eng-Class/M.1598324888.A.024.html

不過這個的前綴只能是正面的形容詞? 例如: beautifl to a fault <- 漂亮到「壞掉了」 :p 這似乎是用 正面形容+to a fault 這種負面極端對比來得到「極為正面」的特殊修辭法? 這種在修辭學上有專有名詞嗎? 另外，用這種修辭法的話，程度應該排最高嗎? 例如: very beautiful < extremely beautiful <<<<< beautiful to a fault? 話說，這種要翻成中文怎翻? 直白翻「漂亮到壞掉了」，沒有那種美感。 ※ 編輯: saltlake (114.44.244.197 臺灣), 08/25/2020 15:12:17
