最近想報名一場國際的比賽
但對公告內容有些疑問的部分不太懂
想請教版上各位大大 該怎麼理解～

其中一段
" The IEEE IS&M-SC participants will have to autonomously secure funding for
travel and living expenses to attend the demo session. "
是「參賽者須自付旅費和住宿費」的意思嗎？
secure 查過字典 有 「保證」 的意思
autonomously secure funding 自主保證資金 (?)
但放在文中還是不太能理解...？
另一段
"a letter of commitment of the team members to attend the live demo session at
the chosen venue on their own funds."
我的理解是「參加live demo的團隊需要一封有資金到會場的保證書」 ？？？
第一次接觸國際比賽公告內容，深怕自己的理解不正確
麻煩高人指點～
