[文法] 請教to的用法
今天做題目，遇到了兩題相反的選擇，瞬間讓我對於to的理解，充滿了混亂，題目如下
__ The doctor advised his patient _____ lots of fluid.
(1) to drink (2) drink (3) drinking (4) drank
答案是(1)，我也選(1)，理由有兩個 a. to + V 有表未來的意味，
b. 句中有第二個動詞或以上時，須用不定詞
__ You shouldn't let the new assistant _____ tomorrow's presentation.
(1) give (2) given (3) to give (4) giving
依照以上a.與b.的理解，所以我選(3)，答案卻是(1)，為什麼....
我試著查詢網路上有關不定詞的用法，但依然無法為我解答，還請教版上的各位
