大家好,請教一下
在https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/boost看到這樣的解釋
boost v. n.
Sometimes words appear that really don't have any clear origins. "Boost" is one
of those words, but it's a fun word, and it's thought that maybe it has some
connection to "boose", a Scots dialect word that carries the idea of a push.
想問的是這句:Sometimes words appear that really don't have any clear origins.
裡頭的that要怎麼解讀呢?
看到appear的用法有:
appear to do sth
it appears that
there appears to be
appear to have done sth
what appears to be
但是這句的that後面並不是引領一個名詞子句,所以我就不曉得該如何解讀了。
請教一下,謝謝!

感謝J大!
原來這裡的appear不是「似乎」,而是「出現」的意思,
且語句順序為了又方便理解而調動位置。
依我目前的程度,如果這要靠自己想,大概想破頭也想不出來吧QQ
