[文法] 閱讀文章中的時態
想請教一下各位大大 我在閱讀文章時 遇到句子動詞時態上的疑問
Q1: After we grow up and leave home, our mothers expect us
to come home soon again.
我想請問一下 上句子當中 and 左右二邊不是應該對等。 為什麼左邊的動詞grow up 但
右邊的卻不是 left home?
Q2: On our birthdays, our mothers send good gifts to us.
上面句子當中的send, 為什麼不是用sent, 禮物不是已經給予了嗎?
我在寫作或是閱讀文章時，常常有動詞時態混亂的感覺，有時想著這是算現在式
還是算過去式。想請教一下，有這種情況，可以經由方式學習改善? 謝謝
