[文法] 對等連接詞v.s時態
題目一：A:May I help you?
B:Sure, I bought this recorder here yesterday, but it _____.
(A) didn't work
(B) won't work
(C) can't work
(D) doesn't work
疑問：為甚麼答案是D而不是A
書上寫說[表達事實] 但是重點是它前面用"對等連接詞"
而且如果要說表達事實至少後面用個時間副詞"now"
but it doesn't work now.這樣的話用現在簡單式還能接受
題目二:Jenny ____ well what her dream was and just never ____ up writing.
(A)knows ; gives
(B)know ; gives
(C)knew ; gives
(D)knew ; gave
這題答案就是D 而不是A 這不是很奇怪嗎????
同樣用對等連接詞"and" 難道Jenny不能現在當下才想放棄寫作嗎???
這種題目到底要如何分辨啊?!!! 以前都是說看到對等連接詞 前後時態要一致
除非是強調永恆不變的真理,習慣

可是題目一根本就看不出來為何一定要用現在簡單式
也可以說她的錶昨天就壞了啊 所以用過去式這樣不行嗎???
這一題搞得我頭很痛??? 麻煩高手解答 謝謝
