[文法] 一句單字看得懂，意思卻不懂的話 @@
最近正在看 H. G. Wells的 The war of the world
裡頭有句話百思不得其解
請大家幫忙
No one gave a thought to the older worlds of space as sources of human danger,
or thought of them only to dismiss the idea of life upon them as impossible or
improbable.
前面的意思是 沒人認為太空的舊世界是人類危險的來源
不過逗點後面我就不太了解
特別是 dismiss the idea of life
如果硬去理解 意思好像變成
或者，沒人認為只是去除他們腦袋上的生命想法是不可能的
感覺怪怪的
麻煩大家了
