[求譯] 小說中的一句話
今天在念The Night Circus，讀到以下這段，雖然只是在敘述街景，
但是沒完全看懂總覺得怪怪的.....
下面這段話是在描述街道上灰濛的景象，但是highlight的那段我覺得
有點難解釋，有人可以一起分享覺得是在說什麼嗎?謝謝
The building is as grey as the pavement below and the sky above,
appearing as impermanent as the clouds, as though it could vanish
into the air without notice. Nondescript grey stone renders it
indistinguishable from the surrounding buildings save for a tarnished
sign hanging by the door.
建築物像下方的人行道及上方的天空一樣灰濛，像雲一般一不注意就會消逝
在空氣中
再來我知道nondescript grey stone renders it indistinguishable
from the surrounding buildings是顏色難以形容的灰石頭使得他自己與四周建築物
難與分辨，但save for a tarnished sign hanging by the door是.....?
有人可以順暢解釋出這段話嗎?
