[求譯] CNN students裡頭的一段話

It`s hard to think of puns for the word "turkey" I mean there are other ideas
we could shout from the rafters like that gobbles up our time for today. When
we couldn`t a leg up on any great ideas, and when the whole gang couldn`t
cook up anything better, we just decided to wing it.
試譯:
要從火雞想一個雙關語真的是相當困難，
我是指如果要想出一個類似"大口的將今天的時間吞下了"之類的雙關語
(rafters在此句是何意呢?我查到是屋頂橫木??~XD)
當我們無法想出一個更好的主意時，而當整個團隊也無法想出更好的主意時
(我不太清楚 他好像想把一樣的意思講了兩遍??)
所以我們決定即興發揮
(wing it我是查到這個意思 可問題是 講到這裡就結束 到底發揮了什麼?)
