[請益]此句yet的意思
各位版上的大家好:
最近在看雅思英文作文的範本，對有一句話有個小問題:
The weekly average amount of fish also dropped, yet by merely
a few grams during the first couple of noted years before
stabilizing at about 40 grams.
我想請問句中的yet該怎麼解釋呢?
如果文中少了yet，用drop by也是可以通，但是想我更進一步瞭解
yet在這裡的意思。
查了網路辭典及collins辭典都不曉得意思，因此請教大家。
