2. give someone a piece of one's mind: (對某人發脾氣)
I give them a piece of my mind.
3. peace of mind: 安心
Life is full of surprises. That's why having savings to fall back on can give
you peace of mind and is an important part of being financially independent.
4. easier said than done: 說比做容易
Sadly, for many, saving miney is easier said than done.
5. expenditure: 總開支
Joanne's monthly expenditure doesn't exceed $300.
(月開支不超過300美元)
The candidates proposed to cut gevernment's expenditure on arms.
(刪減政府在軍事上的開支)
6. diversify: 使分散/使多樣化
The school diversified their curriculum to attract more students.
(學校開設多樣化的課程以吸引更多學生)
Ricky diversified his assets into different investments to reduce the risk
of loss. (分散投資以降低虧損的風險)
7 saving for a rainy day: 未雨綢繆
You're going to need that money for a rainy day.
